Position Paper Submission

Paper Guidelines: 

 

Each paper should be in Times New Roman, 12-point font. The paper may be up to 2 pages long (excluding works cited), single-spaced. 

 

Begin with a proper heading, labeled as follows in the top right corner.

Include the following four sections (& subsections*). Please clearly label the sections as the following:

1. Topic Background

   1. Historical background

   2. Current situation

   3. Key issues

2. Past UN Action (doesn’t need to be included for crisis committees)

3. Country/Character Policy

4. Proposed Solutions (for crisis, use this section to explain your crisis arc)

   1. Proposal

   2. Anticipated opposition

   3. Defense for anticipated opposition
